Research Ready: A Student's Guide to Data Online

Are you an aspiring researcher, or thinking about an upcoming thesis or dissertation? If you've ever wondered how data fits into the research process, and how University Libraries can help, this workshop is for you!

We'll discuss:

  • What is research data, why is it important, and how do I find or collect it?
  • What tools does University Libraries offer for finding and analyzing data?
  • How to store, organize, and manage data
  • A brief introduction to data visualization services

Experienced student researchers, new students, and those with no prior experience are all welcome to attend. No preparation is necessary, and you don't have to be working on any current research. We look forward to seeing you there!
