Group Study Rooms are available for collaborative study space and require 2 or more students at a time. There are no single-person study rooms in Thompson or Bryan Information Commons buildings.
Study rooms are available to reserve up to two weeks in advance. You will use the Category pull-down menu to choose a specific type of room (study room or podcast room) to reserve.
Student organization meetings are not permitted in the library – please visit Coastal Connections to request meeting space for your group. Ongoing office hours or classes are not permitted in study rooms.
Study rooms are not available for student testing - Please contact the CCU Academic Testing Center for available testing and proctoring services.
If you do not have a reservation, you may be asked to vacate the study room. Violations of this policy may result in the loss of study room privileges.
Study Rooms Reservation Rules
- Maximum capacity for each study room is listed on the reservation page. Study room capacity limits will be strictly enforced. Any occupants over the alotted number will be asked to leave the study room. The minimum required for a reservation is 2 people.
- Study Rooms can be reserved for up to 3 hours in one day.
